Reading Notes: Robin Hood part A
Bibliography: Robin Hood: Francis James Child, Source
Robin Hood: Tom Holland (young, funny, charming)
Celebrity Casting:
For my readings about Robin Hood, I thought it would make them more enjoyable if I had specific people playing each part that I could imagine while reading. I’ve been wanting to try this challenge for awhile, but none of the stories I read had constant characters. The only downside to this section of reading is a serious lack of female characters, so I had to choose random people for those.

Robin Hood: Tom Holland (young, funny, charming)
- “Fifteen winters old” he’s young at first, so he can’t be played by a 30 year old
- later throughout the song he grows older.
- brave, bold, courageous “with passionate fury and ire”
- He can move a bow and arrow, cares for the people
- clever, tricks butchers
Little John: Will Poulter (Will is by no means chubby, but he is 6’2 which helps my vision)
- “tho he was called Little, his limbs they were large”
- This young man has to be tall, built, and intimidating
- “he was must I tell you but seven foot high”
- loyal to Robin hood, also skilled in bow and arrow
Butcher: Idris Elba, (because I like him and could see him as a strong butcher)
- “jolly butcher”
- outsmarted by Robin Hood
Will Scarlett / Scarlock etc: Joe Keery (Loved him in Stranger Things, good for action adventure roles, could handle a sword or bow and arrow)
- just one of Robin hood’s friends
- always down to clown
Allin a Dale: Daniel Radcliffe (cool guy, I don't know)
- poor young man just trying to get married
- swears to be Robin Hood’s servant
Maiden (Allin a Dale’s girl): Zendaya (she is young, fresh, and trendy)
- this character has no description of personality
- “bride lookt as fresh as a queen”
Crying mother woman: Brooke Shields (beautiful, middle aged woman)
- “a gay lady, she came weeping along the highway”
- she has three sons, she cares deeply
